I got Vancouver winning and St. Louis at WC2

Oilers win because I’m biased and STL gets WC2 because I hate Vegas and am biased!

  2. ToXiC_Mentor

Why St. Louis? Vegas has 3 points on them with a game in hand and an easier schedule

  3. SportsHubLTD

I think Vegas sneaks in there and plays Edmonton

  4. Reditall12

I’d love to see the blues bounce Vegas.

I think the Pacific winner will be decided when the Oils and Nucks meet up on Saturday.

  5. I think it would poetic justice to have the team that circumvented the cap to try to win the cup again doesn’t even make the playoffs. Its a tall order for the Blues but that would be great. As for the pacific division, if the Canucks are playing as they are right now, then its Edmonton, we’ll when they play each other

  6. I think it comes down to whoever wins the game between Vancouver and Edmonton for first. Wildcard 2 it’s hard not to see Vegas in that spot if they play the way the did last night.

  7. I’d like to see the oilers take it, but I honestly don’t see 1-2-3+WC changing from what it is now.

Vegas bumps LA to make LA the WC2 and Edmonton take home the W if McDavid come back to finish the season.

Maybe, hard to say not knowing.

Vegas just needs three points to clinch and only have one game against a team above the playoff line left on their schedule. As much as I hate to say it we aren’t getting in.

The Oilers could easily win the Pacific, they’ve got 3 games against teams below the playoffs compared to Vancouver only having 1.

    I’ll take STL

Fuck Vegas, they can eat a shit sandwich

As a Canucks fan I’m just happy we are actually in the playoffs and don’t really care what position we are in.

I think it’s kinda fun that it’s coming right down to the last few games for positioning.

  12. If you doubled the sharks points they might have a chance

  13. LoanedWolf75

Oilers control their own destiny in the Pacific.

  14. Whatever happens, the universe will find a way to make the Oilers vs. Kings round 1 happen again.

  15. PlaneXpress69

Well considering the Blues don’t have any games left against the Sharks I have to say i like their odds

  16. SadAcanthocephala521

I called it back Christmas, Oilers finish top team in the Pacific. We’ll be playing Nashville first round.

  17. At this point I feel like Vegas is purposefully tanking to play Dallas in the first round…haha

  18. TellLucky9651

The oilers have 2 games in hand. I think oilers 1, Canucks 2. Kings 3. Knights 4

  19. islandinparadise

Edmonton wins division. Kings get last playoff spot

  20. I think the Oilers take the division (sorry fellow Nucks fans 😅). They’re playing so well and we just can’t seem to string wins together.

Vegas will hang on to WC2. There’s just not enough runway left for the Blues to catch up, especially with Vegas having a game in hand

Gotta respect the Canucks this year for maintaining their record. The start was crazy hot and a lot of people thought they’d slow down or regress and they didn’t. Gotta be very happy if you’re a nucks fan.

  22. Zestyclose-Way-7768

r/canucks’ general consensus is that they will finish at the bottom of the standings by next week. Seriously, just read that sub for about five minutes and you’ll see what I mean.

  23. dexterthekilla

I would probably give that to the Nucks

  24. REAPER-1_xxx

I’m leaning on whoever wins on Saturday between Nucks and the Oil most likely wind the division.

  25. BasicTeacher3232

If Vegas doesn’t get it then it’s on them. It’s totally in there hands.
Oiler have the best shot to winning the Pacific

  26. Level_Watercress1153

Vancouver is winning the pacific and LAK will be overtaken and end up WC2

  27. More_Advertising_383

Preds winning the Super Bowl no question

  28. VaporTrails2112

We are catching up damn. We would be better if we didnt lose 3 times to the sharks dammit

  29. shittybillz

Assuming Edmonton beats the coyotes on Friday, Saturday could be for the division. If the Oilers win they’ll be tied for points with the Canucks, and the Canucks will only have 2 more games as opposed to 3 for the Oilers.

The Canucks will play the Flames and Jets. Both winnable but could be tough games. The Oilers play San Jose, the Coyotes again and then the Avs. Maybe the Avs rest their starters, but probably not. The avs could really fuck the oilers over if the Canucks win out after losing on Saturday (109 points) and the Oilers win until the Avs, then lose (109 points but Canucks would own the tie breaker).

This may legitimately come down to the final day of the season

  30. hpepper24

I don’t think the blues really have a chance cause if the VGK win 2 or 1 and OTL of their next 4 games they clinch and 2 of the last games are against the Wild and the Blackhawks, have to assume one if not both of those are wins

  31. surlystraggler

Coyotes get WC2, go on miracle cup winning playoff run, get relocated. All in a three month time frame.

  32. RadioDude1995

I would love to see vegas out of it. They’re going to get in though. And of course, their roster will magically recover from whatever injuries they had.

  33. starcross24

Oilers will win. Two games in hand and an easy schedule.

  34. Oilers-Billdozer23

Honestly just because I’m an Oilers fan I wanna see us take the Pacific.

But WC2 I’m St Louis all the friggen way. Would love to see Vegas get edged out.
