  1. If Avs play Jets in the first round, it could very well be like the Kraken series last season – Jets have done well against them in the regular season, just like the Kraken did last season.

  2. As a Swede it always saddens me when one retires. Best of luck to Silferburg! Heja Sverige! Tre Kronor för alltid!

  3. It might be my Penguin bias talking but there is no way Fleury retires as anything other than a Penguin. I loved Tom Barraso as a youngster but he was apparently a major asshole behind the scenes. This being the case I would think the Pens themselves would anoint Fleury as their all time franchise goalie.

  4. Fleury seems happy as a Wild, and I think he'll retire there, so no 1 day contract needed. In a few years, the Pens should retire his number though.

  5. It would be lame if the yotes moved to Utah because they put in a lot of time and effort to build up form the bottom, and now they have to throw it all away because the NHL is impatient? Lame.

  6. I really hope Oilers play McDavid one more game to reach 100 assists. Would be a shame to see him miss that mark.

  7. Silfverberg had a solid Ducks tenure and it does make that decision I think easier at least because at least based on how the last few years had gone with him I personally wasnt wanting to see him come back for us next year but to retire as a Duck theoretically I can be alright with

  8. Thought for sure Hanafin was headed to Boston. Not sure they could have signed him at the same deal, but also just goes to show you that Vegas is a major draw for players
