Please learn how to pronounce his name right … Zee-gras not Zeh-gras ……
I'd want to play under MSL.
idk why youre still talking about zegras nobody wants him in mtl ! 🙄🤦♂
Slav – Suzi – Newhook (Roy)
Cole – Dach – zegras
f… Zegres don't need him
I think Caufield had a good season. Sure, he is a brought in as a goal scorer. But here is the truth: Suzuki can score too. And as we've seen lately, so can Slaf. Cole's playmaking is elite and he simply isn't called upon to score that much anymore. Plus it's definitely not for a lack of trying. This guy his the post and crossbar more than ANY player I've seen! He's always generating chances out there and he's only gonna get better. He is simply learning a more well rounded game
I am not disappointed at all by Caufield's season. He suffered to score goals as his usual self but managed to still be productive with 62 pts so far. Far from deception
I think it was a great season for him. He showed a skill set I didn't know he had. Skating, puck handling, passing, going into the corners with guys 30-50 lbs heavier than him and coming out with the puck were all surprising.
Newhook and jets 1st for Zegras
L take all the way.
He played a better 200 feet game.
He is a more complete player.
Because they know how much Caufield can score the other teams was more on him and have been sleeping on Slaf and Suzuki that put it in the net instead.
We don't want princess Zegras. He would mess up the culture of fighting evey second on the ice that the habs have.
Trevor Zegras to the Devils. You heard it here first!
im pretty happy with caufield's season
I'd have to disagree with bringing zegras. He lacks defensive play, and caufield already plays well with suzuki, slaf, and dach. I understand the whole, bring the band together thing, but Zegras isn't a fit. He isn't physical, his defense isn't great, and he isn't incredibly great at faceoffs either. We need another goal scorer to take the pressure off caufield. Most successful teams have a secondary scorer. Look at mackinnon/rantanen, kucherov/stamkos, matthews/Nylander, crosby/malkin, etc. Having 1 goal scorer keeps everything predictable. Slaf I can see being a 30 goal guy, suzuki can be a 30-40, and we don't know the ceilings for newhook and dach yet, but they appear to be more of a playmaker style than goal scorer.
