I don’t want to see anyone who was bitching this morning about Stamkos being unsigned also bitching about this

If (when) we keep Stamkos we’ll barely have the cap space to resign Tyler Motte nevermind pay 3 LD over 7M each

Well, that honestly strikes me as good news. I don’t think we have any kind of need for another offensively minded defenseman. Now JBB give Stammer a call and put this free agency speculation to bed before the playoffs (I know it won’t happen but a man can dream)

I never understood why anyone thought he would be more than a rental if we did get him.

If we didn’t sign cernak to that extension I would have seen chasing hanifin as a possibility but fact is with hedman, serge and cernak our defense $$ is a bit tied up.

  5. When people thought he was going to sign with us in the offseason, “because someone heard he liked Tampa.” lol

Anyone who willingly wants to play for Vegas can fuck off lol

Does Vegas have double the cap than everyone else?? How the fuck are they poaching so many good players from so many teams and never seem to run out of money or cap space? This seems incredibly suspect. I’ve heard some people think that players are being given incentives “outside” of their contracts which seems like that might be a real possibility. Just grabbed the last good player from the Sharks (Hertl), a good veteran player from Caps (Mantha), got Hanifin, one of Calgary’s best D men, got Eichel not long ago – wtf?! This makes no sense to me. Are they paying their goalies $50 a game or something? Explain this to me, please. Watch next year they somehow get Bedard 🙄

They fully intend to injure him each January for the last 4 years of that contract.
