100% agree everything you said about the Leafs. I was gonna say Shanahan and maybe Keefe.
Reilly has been an amazing players for yrs. Starting all the way back to Burke. It’s time for him to move down to the 2nd slot and let the leafs bring someone in who is younger.
I’d love to see them re-sign both Bert and Domi.
With Sammy. I believe he has another year. But it isn’t expensive. Could possibly trade him for draft pick(s) and or prospect(s). We all know the Leafs don’t have that many pucks this up coming draft.
I’m a little Leary about Marner. It could also possibly upset some players as well. Said possibly lol.

I think Ryan Smith, who owns the NBA's Utah Jazz, will purchase the Arizona Coyotes and their AHL affiliate, the Tuscon Roadrunners, from Alex Meruelo for $1.3 billion, including a relocation fee of $195 million, so next season, the Coyotes will relocate to Salt Lake City to become the Utah Vultures and use the Delta Center as their temporary home venue until a new downtown arena is built and open in either 2026 or even 2027 both the Vultures and the Jazz, while the Tucson Roadrunners of the AHL will relocate to Ogden to become the Odgen Elks and play their home games at Dee Events Center.
I think the problem is that the Leafs just tinker around the edges. The need a core change and an upgrade on D and in goal.
I'm just imagining Toronto-Florida and Vegas-Edmonton in the first round this year. A pair of second round match-ups from last year's playoffs, and the winners of those series went on to face each other in the Cup Finals. Bobrovsky looks like the same goalie as last year for Florida but Hill for Vegas has taken a huge step back, both from weaker game play and from injuries that caused him to miss time.
Marner has a NMC contract and can't be traded unless he waives. Does Mertl not watch the leafs?
Great Video, as usual, Mike. I think that The Toronto Maple Leafs should keep The Regime that they have. Even though it's been difficult seasons under Brendan Shanahan & Co, they have made strides, in the right direction, such as getting rid of Lou Lamarillo & Kyle Dubas in appropriate times. They also unloaded Mike Babcock when he started to wear out his time with them & they've managed to keep The Core Together & for Under The Salary Cap. I'm thinking that their going to go to The Finals within these 2-3 years. Let me know what you think

"The PR put out by ownership has been very misleading." Yes. Imo, by far the biggest problem the NHL has is bad ownership in way too many markets. For many of them, the team is a financial investment. They hire people & put things on autopilot. See CBJ, NYI, ANA, & SJS for examples. AZ ownership has been a disgrace. Leafs run every major decision through a committee. That's pure idiocy. One person must lead. Even Comcast knows that. Worst of all, NHL expansion plans are lust for more cash payouts. That's it. No legit case can be made it's good for the league's product or good for the sport. Rant concluded. Thank you for your vids.

JT to me is the one that needs to be moved. Given his age it's either a payout or an overpay for him and I don't think you want that on a cup contending team.
Shanahan, Keefe, Brodie, Gio, Lilly are obvious names to move on from, need to trade two of the core forwards, and Samsonov isn’t worth resigning imo……..

They have looked far better with Domi and Bertuzzi on the first line, than with Marner. That says a lot.
The leafs need a true #1 goalie and dman. Resign Domi and Burtuzzi then fill out the roster with some of the kid's
I'll actually be mad if leafs dont resign marner if he gets traded just watch we'll get nothing in exchange in that case i think that would be my last straw and id officially be on team fire treliving
Next year starts Keefe 2 year deal so he probably will not get fired , but he should be.
Shanahan should be fired he lead the TML to build a team built like an excited 12 year old built it.
