    It is what it is. Sammy showed a lot of fight and guts.

    Nice goal for Matty and that’s all that matters.

    Edit: Did anyone hear Elliotte say “Nice!” In the background when Ron started to breakdown the game? Pretty good.

    Based on how Keefe played him the last few minutes, I don’t think Matthews is playing the next 2 games… and based on his reaction on the bench I think he’s aware of that

    I can’t believe Keefe is going to put TJ Brodie in the playoff lineup. He doesn’t contribute any offence, doesn’t hit, gets brushed off the puck constantly, never can clear the zone in critical moments. This guy is a mere shell of himself now. He is an absolute liability

    I usually support Keefe but if Brodie is one of our top 6 defencemen once the playoffs start, he probably deserves to get fired.

    Hard to understand what Max was thinking there. You’re in the neutral zone with 15 seconds left. Just keep your stick on the ice.

    Love what Max brings but feels like he cost us the last two games. Meaningless result for us, bring on the ‘yoffs!

    Doesn’t really matter. That massive win will be for nothing next game for Detroit. I’ll bet you the Canadiens or Ottawa defeat them and they miss. 

    Never underestimate the power of the maple leafs comedown after a win. You’re spent and exhausted.

    Genuinely hate the attitude some people have about the last few games. “Oh they’re fighting for their lives, we’re not. Who cares about the result”

    Coasting into the playoffs isn’t a recipe for success. You can’t just turn on good hockey after a week or two of not caring
