  1. Drake Maye is a STUD it's written all over the 2022 film…let's not forget he was in the race for the Heisman at a BASKETBALL school with less overall Talent

  2. A 21/22 year old college QB is going to have flaws. That shouldn't be an issue. Having good coaches and a proper plan for their growth and development are the issues. I know it was a different time, but Steve McNair (hugely flawed, but talented) sat for 2 1/2 seasons. Became an MVP.

  3. Accuracy and footwork are some of my most important qualities. QBs have shown it’s very hard to improve. More QBs have failed to improve mechanics and accuracy than have succeeded.

  4. You guy brought alot of context to the Drake Maye discussion. Thanks for that, with that being said im firmly in the Drake Maye camp and thinks he will be atleast good QB in the NFL

  5. Lots of film of him throwing to wide open "windows". That does not happen in the NFL.

  6. Hide this vid. Maye needs to fall to the Giants. Was falls in love with Daniels, Minn wants McCarthy and NE wants to trade down. Easy

  7. I don't think he will be heard from 3 years from now. Just more draft hype, we see this every year.

  8. New tackling rules will change football. QB consistency is in and erratic/big play QBs are out. That's why Maye's draft stock is falling and those of McCarthy, Nix, Penix and Rattler are rising. Maye is, by far, the most erratic QB of the bunch. He makes bad decisions and he's lousy in the pocket. Lots more running, short passing game, and protecting the football in 2024-25.

  9. Drake Maye is going to be the best quarterback coming out of this draft I hope that whoever picks him works on his mechanics and I would bet my house that he will be the best quarterback at the end of this upcoming season. Ryan Poles I hope gets fired because of him not being a great scout he is gonna be influenced by all the talk about CW and after 2 years CW might be out of the NFL sounds crazy right? CW will lead the entire NFL in turnovers I’m gonna take a screenshot of my comment so at the end of the year I can show the whole YouTube nation.

  10. I cannot wait till my patriots draft him. As long as Washington does their job and takes Jaden. Jaden and I are both going to be amazing so Washington and patriots are both winning.

  11. Ever notice how the QB that sucked in the pros are the ones critiquing the kids coming out of college ?

  12. Really want him on the Vikings especially cuz we couldn’t trade up for AR last year. Would suck to lose out on that type of talent twice in a row. I do feel like though this ‘high potential’ stuff is getting carried with Maye. Yes the elite potential is what ur chasing but also his play right now is still just as good if not better than any of the other QBs in the draft including Caleb. I think beyond the more recent comps he reminds me a lot of John Elway coming out of Stanford.

  13. It's the Great White Hype Syndrome, it happens every year around this time. Sam Darnold, Mac Jones, Josh Rosen, Daniel Jones, Mitch Trubisky, Zach Wilson, they all went before better QBs and turned out to be below avg at best and the same will happen with Drake and JJ. Not looking at skin tone but actual production. Penix was NCAA passing leader, Daniels won the Heisman and yet some putting these guys ahead of them. It's Groundhog Day, all over again.

  14. When you play Football at a basketball school….
I wont hold your de- commitment from Alabama 4 years ago against you Forever….. Karma was ironically served last night at the Tournament…….following your pro day…….Ah, the circle of Life

  15. Everyone overthinking Drake Maye, just like Herbert and Allen which I think he is a great blend of them; Herbert had better footwork even tho it was robotic and Allen was a little to aggressive and wild and a long strider like Maye, and he is a line drive thrower like Herbert so when he misses he misses by a lot bc it sails but he has that heat heck streak and can pick apart the middle of the field

  16. If the Patriots think hes the guy he can sit a year behind Jacoby. Maybe some spot starts to have game feel.

This is a throwaway season of "hopefully" growth for Pats/Commanders.

  17. Scouts love Maye because they’re all about projection. People who simply watch what you currently are don’t care for Maye

  18. I think tools wise, hes very similar to Herbert and Josh Allen. But i think that mechanical, he might be a bit closer to Zach Wilson, which i think gives him a very boom or bust feel. I also think you guys overblowing how bad his situation is. Walker is a great receiver. Probably better that anything Caleb Williams had. And i think theyre offensive lines were similar. And yet Drake maye was no where near as good

  19. I cannot agree. There is not a playcalling problem, if you misses wide open short throws. That are mechanics. And that was very often. And he wants to get drafted Top 5. Then you do not get a lot of help, you are in bad team. So for me he is a 2nd Rounder, and I think Chris Simms is absolut right in this point. Sit him develop him.

  20. It makes no sense to sit maye. If he has flaws then he needs to play so those flaws can be captured at the nfl level and then you can figure out how to refine him to become better. Him not playing will never allow the opportunity for his team to see what needs to be fixed. Im also interested to know if evaluators are looking at only his junior season or his sophmore season as well.

  21. We really have to stop comparing this guy to Josh Allen… Setting a lot of people up to be disappointed
