With both Washington and Philly winning today one of them is guaranteed to hit 89 points since they play each other next. Red Wings are eliminated if they lose in regulation today because they do not have the tie breaker.

Our team really fucking crumbled to end the year. I know Larkin’s injury was the main reason, but it’s deeply saddening. Not to mention with Yzerman doing at the trade deadline.

  2. Honestly who wanted to see them take a fat L in the playoffs? Steve and Co need to feel some friction this offseason along with the entire gang and maybe we can start building to be a playoff team one day soon…..

Edit: Spelling as I’m on a few sodas. Usually I coward out on negative comments but I’m gonna let this one rip. Although I do agree that experience obviously would have been nice for razor Mo etc.

The way this team has looked in all of these “biggest game of the season to date” contests has to make Stevie sick to his stomach. This organization needs a reset in the worst way.

  4. Caps have two games left. Next is the Bruins. They need to lose both. Either Caps win and we’re boned, or they lose and we root for the Flyers.

Double check math? Detroit has three game Philly has one. Detroit wins two more and tie tonight still in if Philly wins.

And now we have to win both against the Habs and get some luck. Point is, this is now playoff hockey. Just enjoy it

All we need to do is win out last 2 and boston the take care of the caps and we’re in. It’s been gross hoping some of my least favorite teams win the last couple weeks but we just have to do it one more time
