He gets paid a lot, gets to work with people he is familiar with, a young up and coming team, and doesn’t have to be the main media focal point here. I also think he definitely has more sway on this management team than a lot of people think just because he’s not the GM

The Columbus rumour was always so silly. Someone there clearly wanted the media (Dreger) to put that out for them. Gorton has worked for 3 original 6 teams and has talked about how big of a deal that is to him. If he ever left us it would not be for Columbus.
