F***… I hate this for you guys so much.
Also I do want to emphasize my concern for youth hockey in Arizona, as I’m now GRAVELY concerned for its future. The Coyotes leaving is extremely heartbreaking for the younger generations in Arizona whom were looking into the sport, and I fear this will make them turn away from the game due to the emotional tole this is gonna take on them. For example, before the VGK were born in Vegas, youth hockey development was very sparse in that community, and despite the existence of the Thunder & Wrangers before the VGK, Vegas never was a place where youth hockey took off due to the lack of awareness, and overall interest before the VGK were even born… now that the VGK is who they are, youth hockey has exploded in Las Vegas, and it’s only gonna continue growing there as the sport’s popularity there continues to grow… Arizona unfortunately is going the opposite direction of that, and unless the Yotes return in 5 years or so, youth hockey is for sure not gonna be growing in Arizona, thanks to the killing of the interest via this horrible situation.
This is sad, i feel sorry, but please vist Salt lake and help us support this team

I feel bad for arizona fans, you don't deserve this. Hopefully this will eventually prove to be a good thing and you'll have a successfull nhl team with a good owner(so in 6ish years?)

It is eerily weird that Shane started his NHL career in the franchise’s last season in Winnipeg and then Josh started his NHL career in the franchise’s last season in Phoenix. You couldn't write it up in a movie like that and make it seem believable.
I'm a Yotes fan since '96. Don't live In Arizona, not even in the States. Used to be a Red Wings fan. But in '96 I decided to support this underdog team, the team that does things differently, plays hockey in a dessert and have the sickest logo in sports history. But probably going to root for the new Yotes too. You'll too once everything settles, but unfortunately this will take time.
As an original Jets fan 1972-1996 Everything you’re saying is the same thing my friends and I were saying. I remember many people from Phoenix who were supportive of Winnipeg fans, but it’s the nasty ones of that time who still remind me of the hell we were going through.
Ranger fan here but have always loved the Coyotes > I feel sorry that the Coyotes fans won't get to see the amazing young talent on this team develop. Also, how about all the people will lose their jobs. I will be listening to the last game on thursday.
I hope the Yotes put on a show for their fans who have stuck with them the past 28 years! It is never fun to lose your team. I really hope Arizona gets an expansion with good ownership this time so the fans can show the NHL that you are a passionate group who really didn't deserve to be gutted like this and treated so poorly by ownership over the past… 20+ years.

I'd still follow this team even if they moved from the city I live in. I moved from Detroit when I was very young but have always been a die hard wings fan but I'm also a lightning fan where I moved and now a Preds fan where I live now. But wings 🪽 #1 in my heart
