Apparently Comrie is starting so that’s a loss.
You’ve gotta be kidding me with Comrie. Reward a guy who failed miserably every chance he got. Meaningless or not, the Sabres lack of prioritizing winning is appalling. This organization needs to be cleansed from top to bottom.
Can't wait to see the Sabres in the AHL. Maybe then they will have a chance to get into the playoffs.
Ahh Joe…why are you wearing a Bills hoodie ? Thoughy this was Locked on Sabres. NO WAY do you sign UPL to a long term deal are you crazy ? Levi is coming NEXT season and by the end of the season Devon will be undisputed NUMBER ONE goalie.

Keeping Granato is about as logical as an astray on a motorcycle.
If Jack Quinn is healthy, we no doubt make the playoffs. I just think he would give us a bunch more wins/scores with him in the line up. No need to blow anything up or get rid of coaches. Just more "Jack Quinn" impact players next year. One via free agency/trade and a move up in the draft. Benson was a great find and I like the trade for Bo Byram. Levi backing up Lukka next year.

I'll take a stab at those swordies. (i'm doing these before i watch his segment just to see how my opinion differs)
most improved: Peterka. he was the most consistent Sabre on the ice this year where basically everyone else regressed… except middlestat but you know… gone now
get off the team: a tie between Girgensons and Olofsson to me. a guy who under-achieves every year vs a guy who's only supposed positive is he has a great shot and he barely gets on the score sheet this year.
most disappointing player: a month ago i'd say tie between Tage Thompson and Dylan Cozens. now it's comfortably Dylan Cozens, signed that huge contract and is a turnover machine who cant buy a goal to save his life. I really hope he bounces back next year.
MVP: Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen no question. (should also be most improved but i only wanted him to have 1 spot) The Sabres would have been eliminated well over a month ago if it wasn't for UPL standing on his head and giving the Sabres the number 1 defense for a time. He's been a little rougher lately but i can't take away from him what ended up being a great turnaround this season.
Victor has his house up for sale my understanding. So I’m sure he’s gone.
