Trade matheson, keep savard till trade deadline. Mailloux should play full season with popcorn in laval, perhaps maybe hutson as well.
Montreal may end up having to either trade a veteran for an older veteran who's closer to the end of his career, or some of their prospect pool for draft picks.
Harris or Baron will be moved

We know Stamkos will never sign in Montreal, 54% tax rate and annoying fans and media.
For the Sabres, Granato likely stays but his assistants will be pushed out. I wouldn’t be surprised if Lindy Ruff is given a role as well.
Krebs and Jokiharju could be moved for veterans
Montreal needs 2 elite forwards , i would trade Matheson and first round pick for one elite young forward

We need new a Canadian to head up the NHL. The next logical expansion would be in Europe and not the Southern USA.
it depends on the return, if say we end up with the first overall pick… what could that pick (Celebrini) + Matheson net us? Would Draisaitl be obtainable at that price?
With such a high impact player in return, would/should the Habs do it?
I think you should listen to see what they can get, if say a team offers a top 15 pick with a prospect and a roster player that can help the young core, I think you should listen.
The Sabres are a bit of a puzzle. There's an entire generation of fans who've never seen BUF play good defense. It's rarely been even passable. How is this possible? As Torts showed in CBJ & again in Philly, you can play effective defense without top talent. You can keep yourself in games. BUF just hasn't bothered. OTT either. It also creates a culture of high expectations where players are held accountable for play away from the puck. Yet another reason OTT should already be talking to Berube.

I could see Tucson being moved to the ECHL or another league. Because having them as an affiliate there while the Salt Lake City team plays, doesn’t make sense, I mean it’s just too far it would make more sense for Ryan to get his own new AHL team closer by.
