   While the last game is today lets take a look moment to look at this season and what the roster may look like to start next season.

   Sam Montembeault

   41GP 40GS 16W 15L 9OTL 0SO 3.14GAA 0.903SV%

   Cayden Primeau

   22GP 20GS 8W 9L 3OTL 2SO 2.95GAA 0.910SV%

   24 of the teams 30 wins, 24 of the teams 36 regulation losses, 12 of the teams 15 overtime losses.

   Lots of one goal games this season, I think the goalies played admirably amidst the youthful D learning and the breakdowns that would happen with some of the questionable bottom 6 players decision making at times.

   Caufield – Suzuki – Slafkovsky , This line is too good.

   * – Dach – Roy , Should be a healthy fight for the 3rd spot.

   Gallagher – Newhook – Armia , This line has been excellent and should stay together.

   Evans – Dvorak – RHP , This could actually be a solid 4th line

   *Anderson on the 2nd line or in Laval, we’ll see which horse shows up next season. Also wonder if anyone can take over that spot from Laval.

   Matheson – Barron

   Hutson – Savard

   Harris – Kovacevic

   Struble – Guhle*

   Xhekaj* – Mailloux^

   *Injured ^Call-up

   I don’t expect many changes on defence to start next season, as both Arber and Justin are RFA’s this summer, both will likely resign and get more time to show development progress.

   Hutson may indeed force a change, it may even be preferable for his development as his hockey IQ may be above the AHL. One or Two of the nine listed may be moved this summer. I wouldn’t want to be the one to make that decision.

   Matheson being sold high might end up making the most sense in the long term. Probably a mid season decision based on being in a playoff spot or not.

   Right now, all we need is a second line and 1 legit horse top 2 dman.

   What we have dach, a pick that is 5-7 and lots of assets.

   1 more game and it’s kent Hughes time.

   I think realistically we are still a minimum of 2 years away.
