Love Jarvis and he has been so amazing, but if he gets a Selke before Staal I’d be upset

I am confused by how they displayed and labeled their data
cause GA is normally Goals Against, right? how does Staal have a negative GA and not automatically #1 here or is it the difference between their xGA and actual GA… in which case how is Staal at -4.4 not automatically #1 here
also Koochie having better stats than a lot of the guys on their Vezina list(that he isnt on) while only being a 0.9 on their Calder list is CLASSIC national broadcast covering Canes.

This article is trash. I love Jarvis but this article is based on a bad defensive model.
Pro tip: if a selke article doesn’t mention Aho, Eriksson-Ek, or Pettersen, it’s not worth its salt.
Aho has almost uncanny identical stats to Barkov and is scoring at a better clip but is somehow unmentioned.

Jarvis will have a legitimate shot at taking home a Selke in the next two years. His growth in the defensive side as well as beefing up WHILE producing has been extraordinary!
I’ll pound the table that being paired with Staal and Fast was the best thing that ever happened for his development.
