    I don’t think he’s ready to be a backup just yet, maybe another season of hopping in when the seemingly inevitable Demko injury occurs

    With that said, I wonder who we sign to be a backup. Talbot? Desmith again? Or some journeyman?

    I think Silovs did a very good job. Points in all 4 games he played, but I think the last two games he started showed that some more development would do him some good. I think he can be the future backup to Demko one day, but I don’t know if next season is it.

    Anytime we play games with our 3rd string and it doesn’t totally destroy their confidence I see it as a win. Thanks for your service Arty!

    Tocchet said they might carry 3 goalies in the playoffs.

    Silovs was an emergency recall so automatically now that Demmer is healthy he goes down but Canucks still have 2 normal recalls to add to the playoff squad, maybe Silovs will be recalled, but it’s probably better he plays in the Abby playoffs

    Demko coming back to post back to back shutouts to give him the best chance to edge out Hellebuyck for the Vezina
