derek, after 81 games my assessment: below average 5 v 5.
20 and 93 are not first line players…therefore 96 is rendered ineffective
10, 16, 13 are good, but when the playoffs begin, opponents will focus on 10. his game does not translate into the tournament
91 is not anything more than a 4th line checking C. the rest of the bottom 6 are replacement level players. 73 might be effective as a momentum guy, maybe.
their d has one above average player and 6 3rd pair players.
they've survived by being great on special teams with a plus goaltender.
when the playoffs begin, they will not win a 7 game series v any team that has decent goaltending and stays out of the box.
the cap forces teams to pay mediocre talent like mika and kreider as if they make a real difference. it is terrible.
been watching this franchise since 69/70, want to see another cup before i die. this is not the year, not really close
Kreids/Mika/Chytil would be a huge upgrade. Hell, Kreids/Mika/Ruhweidl would be an improvement…Roslovic is a complete ZERO.
This is coming from Rangers fan. Sorokin was an absolute monster in this game. How can you say he was just fine.
