Granato was Fired now because he wants to beat the Flyers to Craig Berube , IMO. If its not him then Id be happy with Quennville, Gallant Ruff , Dean Evason, or Boudreau .
Hoping Mckee and Peca are hired as assistant coaches.
Lindy has to be the favorite because of the Canes win the Stanley Cup, he won’t leave.
Joe, you're really setting yourself up for another disappointment with the hoping for Rod Brind'Amour deal. He's the dream coach – but it's just that. A dream.
Fire Adams too. This idiot hired a rookie coach, neglected the goalie position, and screwed up the draft beyond the first pick.
Gallant would be a good choice. Lindy would be a mistake. Unless they use a time machine to bring back 05-06 Lindy.

Lindy is great and was great here but I do not want to retread the old… I would like to see a new coach … with the player you have in the room would you trade for Rod?? And would this year's 1st be to much for a coach??

I wish Ted Nolan was still a consideration to come back to the NHL. I know he wants nothing to do with the NHL (and do not blame him one bit) as he was just blacklisted for making the right call.

Sabres need structure, discipline, and mostly identify. Some player moves will also have to be made in the summer.
I would rather have Rod over Lindy, but the Sabres would have to pay Rod a ton to steal him from the Canes.
Our hope is that Hurricanes get blown out in the playoffs again so we scoop up Rod the Bod?

I don’t know why but i thought this was only Granato’s second full year. For some reason his first full season as head coach is completely wiped from my memory 😅
He usually has a trust the process mantra and even with his patience and moves but it seems he's moving toward we here let's go
I think if sabres got a Stanley cup winning coach, that would make the most sense. There are a few of them available!
Hot rod contract ends when?
I have mixed feelings on Lindy. It's better then Appert and other inexperienced rookies.
But I'd rather have Brindamour or Gallant or Quenville or Berube.

I love Lindy but i actually hope is Rob. Hated but respected him as a player but he is young and has the fire and energy that this team needs from a coach.
Just look how quickly the hurricanes changed with him as coach. The hurricanes always seem locked in and focused to play
The choice should be Berube or Ruff. Brind amour is still under contract and not a guaranteed out of Carolina.
Even though he said the system did not change. I feel like our 5v5 entries definitely changed. The year prior our forwards often Would cut to the middle of the ice and another forward would cut in front or behind them for a criss cross which often lead to good chances on the rush but also often lead to turnovers.
So in in small aspects i think the system did change to limit turnovers. But overall the forecheck, backcheck, neutral zone and dzone all looked similar. Albeit they played better in their own dzone than the year prior
Give me Lindy
There is one problem with Rod Brind’Amour is he doesn’t play physical enough. The Canes are last in the NHL in hits per game. The offense will be better for sure but need to be more physical just look at the teams who lead the league in hits.
