But yeah our roster will be a finals team in 3-4 years for sure.
Kings will be fine. They have Kopitar’s $10M and Doughty’s $11M coming off the books in 2+3 years from now, and their prospect pipeline isn’t trash tier like SJS. Byfield is going to be hitting his prime years and they should have no problem surrounding him with support. They might dip out of playoff contention into a couple years of mediocrity, but I don’ t think they’re going to be a basement dweller as much as this guy purports them to be.
