Really confused about this. ESPN stats are updated. Says that the wings and caps are tied with 91 pts. Wings have 1 more regulation win. Doesn’t that mean the wings should be in? What am i missing?
The whole league better take notice, the REDWINGS have turned the corner. Now we fell lil short this season but showed the grit and talent to only get better. 2025 Redwings will be challenging for the division just wait and see <3

I don't know what we would have done against the Rangers, but I have a very strong feeling Washington is going to get crushed by the Rangers. Their -40 goal differential & not going in hot like a lot of #8 seeds in the past.
It might be viewing things through Red Wings glasses, but I think we would have given them a series. Washington likely won't.

After these two hard fought games by the Wings its like they were destined for the playoffs. Its tough to swallow right now but hopefully this fuels them for years to come.

It doesn't matter. The defense & forwards just dance around the defensive zone like Ballet On Ice. They don't check. Yeah, the comeback wins were great. But why did they have to….poor defense. I love Stevie. Wings fan since 1959. Live in Tampa, so everyone saw what he did here. BUT, there's some very questionable contracts to live with.
