  1. Hey he can def score 3 on 3. Make it to overtime every game and bam lanie is a 60 goal scorer

  2. Not really acrobatic. He lost his balance and was still able to make a decent shot.

  3. The results weren't showing when the trade happened for both sides. But my god Dubois for Laine has gotta be one of the fairest and beneficial trades we've seen in a long time. Awesome.

  4. Guess Iā€™m missing the acrobatic part? Seemed like a normal run of the mill NHL shot to mešŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø

  5. Read the comments seeking consensus that this was not NHL acrobatic. Regrettably saw comments suggesting that he's better than Matthews along the way. Oh no…no no. As a Leafs fan the one thing I can cling to is the fact that we did not draft Laine.

  6. LOl, hardly acrobatic, more of a he was falling do to poor footing on the shot.

  7. Tortorella never changed his way. Only made players natural playing style way worse. Not always… but still. Why he tried to make Laine some juggernaut of a 2-way player when Laine clearly is better 2-way player when he can just focus on scoring and not Tortorella's insane habit of putting players in mold even if they don't fit.

  8. Okay now, for all you dumbasses who don't understand why Laine fell down, let me go over the play with you. As Laine sweeps toward the net, Anders Lee (#27 for New York) tries to take the puck away. Laine sticks his left leg out to keep Lee from getting to the puck and in the process leans to the right and starts to fall. As Laine is about to go down, he shoots the puck. I swear I didn't make this up. Watch it again. The film doesn't lie.

  9. "Clumsy" guy that can go from 10 to 1000 speed in a second & smash a bullet from speed. That suprises alot of players out there. He will get so much better with experience only, he has all the tools.

  10. feels good to see Laine having fun, didnt like the guy with Winnipeg and was not playing good with Torts. Prime time for Laine

  11. i'm thinking tort's was the worst choice possible to coach a player w/ Laine's talent & or play-style.. and i don't think it's crazy to think if the team can rally around him – he could help bring Columbus deep into the play-offs.. i won't say the lords name in vein – but there's absolute potential if they can figure out a conservative game-plan for the remainder of the season..
