I hate to be that guy but if we had to trade Svech and anyone else that is costing us north of 5 mil to be able to keep Jarvis and Guentzel, I feel like it would be a good decision. Our current issue with cap space imo has more to do with salary issues, not so much to do with having too many good players. And I will be the first to say that if Pesce is wanting north of 4 mil, they should take a walk towards free agency. It's not personal, but we should really try to keep the overall improvements we have made to our offense. Kotkaniemi is also expensive, but even if he was producing more on points and goals, it still wouldn't be worth keeping him. We're tight on budget as it is.
I also think letting Necas walk or trading him is a mistake, given he has given our second line a new look with Kuznetsov.
