If the panthers win the cup they have to go through the lightning. Washington had to go through Pittsburgh. We (the lightning) had to beat colombus after they embarrassed us the year before. Its the process of winning. The panthers got Maurice and matt tkachuk for a reason, for this moment. I wish y'all the best of luck in this series. I think the panthers have the better deeper team but you cant count out the high end talent of tampa. of couse vasy will be huge here. See you saturday

I expect this to go 7 games. Both teams have very similar styles of play. Good offense, good defense, and Great goaltending. We are a better team than the ones before. Vasy is going to be tough but not impossible. We also can’t hope for anyone to beat anyone whoever we get is whoever we get. Let’s get that cup boys.

As absurd as it is, I wish I get such a good series out of this that we get a Stadium Series game in the future! Third times’ the charm hopefully! Let’s really put this demon to rest in the Tampa Bay Lightning. Let’s go!

Lightning fan and I've cheered you guys on in every series you weren't playing against us, and well, here we go again. Win or lose, I respect everything Florida has built and I wish them the best. Always play for the win and 1st place there is no question if your a true competitor you welcome the road that lays ahead after giving it your all.. Also giving Vasy to much credit he's not the same this season after his injury plus he's been overused, panthers in 4.. 5 at most if lighting luck one out.

I just never agreed with the notion that Tampa was this boogeyman we needed to avoid. Look, we all know the numbers…we know what they did to us in 2021 and 2022. You can respect a rival and still believe things have changed. I can't stand here and say we're Cup contenders and not accept a challenge from Tampa….let's play to our potential and move ahead. We know we're better than the other 3 teams in the division, go out there and get it done.

Despite playing Tampa Bay again. 2 things that we should keep in mind for one, the panthers are a better coached team versus back then. 2nd, having Tkachuck is way better versus the 2 people that are now in Canada.
It really looked like neither Boston or Florida wanted Tampa after one period. In the end, the matchups are good for the NHL in general. Battle of Florida and a battle of two of the original six. Time to slay the dragon, fam!

Me, my dad and brother were at the game. Surrounded by leafs fans down 2-0, we were ready to admit defeat and play Toronto. But leafs been in playoff mode and do what they do, choke. This may be our best chance at finally beating Tampa. Lets go bring it on
