@New York Rangers

He wanted to teach this kid a tough lesson, but…

The New York Rangers secured the President’s Trophy with Matt Rempe in the lineup and this video talks more about it. #hockey #nhl #newyorkrangers

  1. Rempe's learned how to use his physicality to positively impact the Rangers' lineup which is why we're going to see him in the playoffs.

  2. Barzal and Palmieri both almost knocked Rempe off his feet. His balance isn't worth a damn. He can hit and fight bc he is a big kid but I look forward to the playoffs watching guys finish checks against him. I'm guessing he gets knocked off his feet in the first game.

  3. Seems like having older OG goons speak some sense into the young bull mught of worked not every game is deserving of dropping the gloves. If he can prove the world he can put on pts on the score sheet he may have a decent chance at a nhl career

  4. This has everything to do with Laviolette. He's doing exactly what Tom Renney did with Colton Orr. Take the cuffs off and let him play. You know he would've loved a rd 2 with Boko

  5. He may dress if the Rangers play the Caps because of Wilson. I think even Isles fans will root for him to beat the hell out of Wilson. Other than that matchup, the Rangers have better options.

  6. Nothing wrong with that hit. Now you can't hit anyone in this league without some jackoff trying to challenge you to a fight.

  7. chasing rempe……hey number 20….. you're gone in a year…..can't skate…..can't score….DEI only goes so far on ice

  8. Gotta say that I’m impressed at how fast he’s learned that he doesn’t have to take on every guy that challenges him. There are times when it may not be in the best interest of the team to handle certain business. Good for him. It’s not easy when you have to walk away.

  9. Saving his fireworks for the playoffs? Do you even WATCH hockey? You probably should if you have a hockey related channel. Even in the fighting heavy 80s, it was EXTREMELY rare to have any in the playoffs.

  10. If the Rangers are smart, they won't play Rempe in the playoffs. He's useless. Plays 5-8 minutes a game. Get a guy that can be accountable, play some 2 way hockey, maybe kill penalties. He's just fights…and he often loses those.

  11. Rempe is like playing a man short. He`s NOT a fighter, though yes, he fights a little. I don`t see what his ave 6 minutes OIT contributes. I`m happy to be proved wrong, but anyway……LGR

  12. I notice these guys keep turning their backs after a pass or when they know a hit is coming!! Like it is practiced or something.
Pass and turn your back to draw a penalty.
Take the hit and stop turning away. Otherwise you will eat glass everytime.
    Stop turning!!!!!

  13. No his face has been rearranged the last couple of fights it’s not restraint it’s being afraid 😮😮😮😮😮😂😂😂😂😂

  14. he is smarting up. Pick your spots. Im not so sure how much you are going to see him in the playoffs.

  15. Rempe had nothing to gain here. Good for him. Learning when it's the right time and when it isn't is a growing process. I like the self-control and the maturity.

  16. Rempke vs Nick Foutiuo ?Rempke dont stand a chance against Old Nick but good luck and what kind of nail polish are they using ? 😮😅

  17. the dude is a fucking tree. Of course he is gonna accept the inital challenges. after that he has nothing to prove, why would he take on pointless penalties? I really dont understand the hype around this guy. Bc he fought multiple people his first week in the nhl? Ok and? He lost majority of them and literally wouldnt be in those positions if he wasnt asking for it. Nhl players, especially enforcers do not come sniffing around for fights unwarranted especially for a mid player whose only skill is how he handles himself on the ice being his size. The storyline behind this guy makes fans look stupid. His type of play should be welcomed, but to praise the guy for simply playing the sport is a little wonky to me. Fighting is part of the sport in case anyone forgot. Besides fighting dude has done nothing for the game, i would argue his penalties are more detrimental than anything positive he brings to the ice, hence why is most likely on a leash and not accepting fights now

I will admit he make a difference in physicality in the playoffs. I doubt he will be a difference maker though. that team is stacked.

  18. Rempe in the Playoffs?🤣😂🤣. That’s a good one. Rempe will be on camera sitting in the Rangers box.

  19. Rangers finally had a season to be proud of. It always starts with a physical presence. Of course…hockey can go by the way of basketball and football and play flag sports…no touching

  20. He will fight when he needs to and continue to throw his body around and Lavy already said he will be on the playoff roster.

  21. Tom Wilson is going to put this Rempe kid to sleep…kid doesn’t have a single hair on his chin…kid’s balls still ain’t fully dropped yet….Rangers are overrated and nowhere near as tough as the Panthers or Bruins. They’re lucky they got the Caps first round.

  22. I didn't see the game. Did 20 get an instigation penalty or anything here? Had they dropped gloves he would have. If the NHL really cared about predetermined fights etc they would call instigation in that situation. I like fights, I'd rather see them go. But NHL shouldn't continue to give lip service about preventing fighting if they let someone hit guys in the back end the length of the ice asking for a fight.

  23. Good on Rempe to decide when he goes or not. NYR are guiding him well. Looking forward to his presence in the playoffs.
