Good bye JVR, hello Rick Nash!!! Well, most likely. I'll miss JVR…and the fact how the "Van" was shrunken on his jersey. Best of luck to ya James. (This is all assuming he DOES in fact get traded. This'll look stupid of he stays…)

he can play center thats the position he played before the nhl the flyers were just too deep down the middle when he was with them with carter, richards, then briere and giroux
Favorite goal vs Luongo @ 0:20 . Drags the puck out and puts it on top when much lesser players would of tried to jam it in.
Love this guy. Big body and not afraid to get in deep and use his body.
When he scores he doesn't do any flashy moves…. just sticks with the basics and gets the job done.
Much needed power forward in Toronto. I cant wait for next season.

If the Flyers wanted a center they would have drafted Turris. JVR was projected as a winger from the get-go. This was before Giroux was "on the map," so to speak.
And Giroux actually broke the Flyers roster as RW, by the way.
