Tough series to call. Jets with the depth, Avs with the high end talent with MacKinnon and Rantanen and Makar. Those guys can take over games, for sure. To me the x-factors for the Jets are goaltending and physicality. They have an edge in both areas.
This is one of the best jets team out there and now we need to win 16 game winner
Feeling great about this… it's much easier to shut down a team with 2 or 3 superstars.. like when we swept the Oilers (aka: McDavid/Draisaitl) a few seasons back. To beat the Avs the Jets already know the formula: don't let MacKinnon, Rantanen or Makar do anything & you win!!! Overall depth always beats mediocrity with 2 All-Star NHL darlings 😅 Go Jets Go!!

Winnipeg has the advantage in depth and goaltending. Colorado has the advantage in Elite high end play and players, and special teams. Winnipeg has a chance if they stay out of the penalty box. Colorado has a chance if they stay committed in their own zone and goaltending doesnt fail miserably.

As an Avs fan this series really just comes down to goaltending. For Avs to win, they need Helle to be only “good” not vezina caliber and Georgiev needs to not let in 4 goals in every game lol.

If the Jets don't win this in 4 (maybe 5) games I'd be worried, if I was a Jets fan. With Georgiev in net, it's like having an empty net, and I say that as an Avs' fan. We don't have any faith the Avs' can be competitive with our goalie situation.
