The hockey market just isn’t there. I don’t know how successful they will be in Utah, but it will definitely be better than in Arizona. The worst part is the owner, whose such a sleaze ball, is making so much money.

The crying fans, that hurt to watch. Too few people in Arizona cared, but those that did, cared a LOT.
EDIT: My apologies, I did not intend for that to come off as blaming the fan base. The ownership is the culprit. And sickeningly, he’s apparently getting another turn at bat.

I hope Alex Meruelo watches the footage of all the fans who were shedding tears and sticking around way after the game ended. There’s jokes about Arizona being a bad franchise and having no fans and stuff but look at the love and passion people in Arizona have for that team. People who grew up watching the Coyotes have to experience the pain of losing their team. All because he decided to fuck around and find out instead of actually investing the love and support into the team that those fans did for much longer than he owned them. I feel horrible for you guys in Arizona I really do. I hope you get a second chance because you deserve it and hopefully Meruelo never gets his hands near another franchise again.

Doesnt matter which team you root for you gotta admit this was a beautiful way to end off even if the fans didnt have it the best

Reminds me a lot of when we lost the Whalers, but at least we knew they were leaving.

Look at the size of the booger in that last woman’s right nostril. I mean, let’s not pretend that we don’t see it because that’s IMPOSSIBLE! That sucker is huge and might be painful coming out. Massive props to her sinuses.

He tried his best to hide it, but seeing Josh Doan tearing up was brutal.
Imagine growing up, watching your dad captain a professional sports team, loving said team because you grew up around the organization, played for their junior team, played for your in-state college that your childhood team would eventually share a rink with, get drafted by said team, make your debut to a roar of appreciative fans all for it to get snatched away for you because the rich dumbfuck dropped the ball HARD.

The owner was told by the authorities that they were not building a new arena, almost the next day they announced the team was moving. The Yotes had 20 effing years to try to figure it out!!

Solidarity to the Yote fans. No matter the reason, losing your team just sucks.
