I’m an avs fan but you just gotta love this team. Always the laughing stock of the NHL but there is some serious talent in this group and I hope their transition to utah is as painless as it can be…. Such a shame. RIP yotes
I really do love watching ice hockey and especially the NHL. But the one thing I will never understand in US sports, is the franchise system. Like, people grew up loving this team, going to the stadium etc. Probably passing stories and passion on to the next generation and so on. How can it be normal that a team just moves to a different city? If I had a hockey team move to my German town only because of money, I could not give less fucks about this team. It is really sad to be honest. I feel for all Coyotes Fans. Personally, I could not deal with that 😂

Almost lasted 30 whole years. No one is talking about how that is over double the time JETS 1.0 lasted due to yes financial reasons. As a leafs fan who moved to Winnipeg (for work I hate it here lol) People here still moan about the jets packing it in 96’ and not having a team for nearly two full decades. The kachina is def top 3 logo’s in the league when we’re talking originality. The desert will see hockey again in our life times. It just won’t have Auston Matthews’s on the team like everyone has been saying/hoping 😉
I feel for the Arizona fans. We'll take good care of this team here in Utah. Here's hoping everything gets sorted with a new stadium and the Yotes can start again in AZ.
