The Habs are in a “Can’t Miss” Situation..

OK Guys, it’s time to take a look at the 2024 NHL draft. There are soo many talented young players that are going to be available this year.. and UNLIKE the 2023 draft.. I feel less “invested” in some of the prospects. But in a good way ofcourse.. Let’s take a look! Who would you pick if Macklin Celebrini is already off the board and you were given the chance? Cayden Lindstrom? Ivan Demidov? I wanna hear all about it!

The articles that were in the video were screenshots from Habsfanatics.com, I highly reccommend you to check out this site for further Habs News,

Let me know whatcha think of this one down in the comment section!

  1. Youre putting in too much thinking man. You just keep it simple, and everyday before going to bed pray for that 1st rounder baby

  2. kent is gonna work his magic, dont know what the magic trick is gonna be, but hes gonna do something

  3. Junkie!! That wasn't funny!!! lol, ok it was! If they take a D this year…..im gonna lose control! lol. I might wrap everything in bubble wrap pre-draft, to save myself some money if they do take another d! lol. Therre is a lot of talent available, and we have an awesome chance to get someone good, I dont see a lot of difference in 2-5, if we end up picking 5th or even 6th or 7th, we could still end up with someone really good, id kind of like to get either Cole Eiserman, or Berkly Catton. They are both goal scoring machines.

  4. KHL hockey players are nuts. I used to watch them every weekend at CSKA and Dynamo Moscow games. There's a lot of great young talent in that league and they get lots of play time with top-notch players. I think play time in the KHL is more valuable than the AHL. I'm sure Demidov would be a good pick if some other team doesn't snatch him up first. Москва без мясо! Eat shit Spartak. hehe

  5. would it be crazy of me to ask the habs to pick a big guy who can score goals to round out all the little guys who can score goals that they usually try to get…maybe like cayden lindstrom?

  6. Berky Catton all the way. Based on your results, ppl are sleeping on this kid. I live in Kelowna, Iginla is WAY overrated. Lindstrom missed most of the season with back issues in his D year. That's a massive red flag. But besides that. I think his IQ is very questionable. We don't need another Jason Ward.

Putting Catton into perspective. His ppg this year was 3rd highest for a WHL player in his draft year in 20 years. Only behind Bedard and Reinhart. And this with total DOGS for teammates. 2nd highest scorer, Roulette (an overager) was a ~60 pt player until he was traded to Spokane. He got 108 pts.

And ppl say he's too small. He'll likely end up around 5'11" 185lbs. He's not afraid of the dirty areas. And he even beat Iginla in a scrap this year. But the pure skill and IQ is ELITE. Great skater. Very fast. Great hands and vision. And he's a very competitive kid. I highly recommend the recent video put out by David from Elite Prospects and also the interview David recommends at the end of it. This kid will be a star. Mark my words!

  7. Cayden Lindstrom – I might even pick him #1. Size, protects the puck and speed. What St. Lous has done with Slafzilla he can do with Lindstrom. Kongstrom and Slafzilla burning down every arena in the NHL by 2026/27 season. Bring it on!!!

  8. As a flames fan God I want iginla. But wouldn't be angry if we got catton. But idk where we are in the standings. We were close to 6th overall for a little bit there and then we won a couple

  9. Lindstrom and Demidov will be gone by the time we select. This leaves us with Iginla v2 Catton and Eiserman. Greentree as a Dark Horse.

  10. Im sorry but if were at 5, and anton silayev is aviable we have to take the best player aviable hes just such a smooth skater for his size and have alot more offensive upside, its almost like chris pronger and victor hedman had a baby together.

  11. I want the Habs to get anything but the 2nd overall pick. Good chance they over analyze the situation and end up taking Demidov

  12. If they pick at 5 or 6, I won't lose my mind if they take Dickinson. I am leary of Eisermann (I heard he could be another Hoffman). I won't be mad if they reach for Iginla.

  13. No Russians ! Unless they defect, the potential geo-political troubles is risky and a Putin supporter in our dressing room disgusts me. Putin wants to take over Slafs home country. Please… No Russians.

  14. Berkly Catton lit up the WHL, and Cayden Lindstrom's been quite injured this year. I'd be quite happy with Catton. 116 pts in the W.

  15. Konsta Helenius is my pick. He just had a great season in the Liiga as a 17yr old. Is a center and already plays a 200ft game. A good solid skater that can be hard to knock off the puck even if he is only 5'11". Underrated passing and shooting. Let him continue developing in Finland for another year or two and bring him over when he is ready for the NHL.

  16. Of there is any chance Habs pick high enough to grab Demidov who is free to come to America in only one year, that's the guy I want to cheer for in two years.

MTL is loaded on defense so they have enough young dmen to afford not taking the best player if it's another defenseman. So if Demidov and Lindstrom are gone, they will take baby Iggu who is a great two way player with a huge heart and competitive spirit.

  17. Demidov has way better number than Mitchkov and he plays both ways in contrat to Mitchkov. Des ont anyone do their research here before wiring down their comments !!!!!!

  18. I'm not that interested in Demidov but I'd be fine with any of Parekh, Catton and Iginla. In the event of getting 2nd overall, I would seek to trade down.

  19. Hope you do videos to cover the playoff, even though the habs are out. Enjoying the great content you put out. Glad I came across your channel. Go Habs Go!

  20. Catton is second best forward of this draft hands down. Why he's so underrated? That is bewildering to me. He'll be the second forward coming off the board!
