  1. i like arizona coyotes arizona government and voters do it and cites in arizona dont want them i like ATLANTA THRASHERS I like Quebec Norques,I Like Hartford Whalers,I like kansas city Scouts,I LIKE CLEVELAND BARONS,i LIKE CALIFORNIA Golden Seals I dont know why they move salt lake i want new owners for Arizona Coyotes next team

  2. Boo Hoo Woo 😢😢!! Salt Lake city will now show you folks how to hockey 🏒 and this team will now stood on its own 4 paws 🐾 😀

  3. Surprised to hear Craig shill for billionaire owners. It's not on the public if any city to pay for the arena for a billionaire's toy. These people or ownership groups have more money than most people know what to do with, it's not up to regular people to subsidize their sports team.

  4. NHL NOT BRING Houston Aeros,Indianapolis Racers,Cincinnati Stingers, Phoenix Roadrunners from WHA TOO They get Edmonton OLIERS ,Winnipeg JETS,Quebec Nordiques ,Hartford Whalers from WHA TWO TEAMS ARE GONE NHL,NFL,MBL,NBA TEAMS SHOULD NOT MOVED NFL MOVED TEAMS TOO

  5. From a Sharks fan, hoping the Yotes come back….but with different ownership, you deserve better. BTW Go Roadrunners!

  6. As a Binghamton Hockey Fan, I know this feeling, in 1997, after decades the NY Rangers ripped our AHL franchise out from under us, to move the franchise to Hartford, after the Whalers left.

Then after five years of lowly UHL hockey, the AHL returned and started another multiple decade AHL run and then the NJ Devils ripped the heart out of hockey fans in 2021 breaking their lease and left us high and dry. Now we have a lowly FPHL team, but our hockey family continues to sell out our 4800 seat building no matter who is wearing Binghamton across their jersey!

Good luck and may we both find our way back to wear we belong – NHL/AHL.

  7. Gut punch that a city of 185 000 said no ? That is the worst take in the video, it's Craigs Mary Antoinette moment.

Socialize the cost and privatize the profits.

  8. What will never make sense to me and really hope sometime you all talk about this either here or somewhere else. The question comes down to WHY was did this market never able to get a competent owner? The last or current one seems? to have had the money but seemed to care more about lining this up with his gambling assets than a good sustainable team. Any thoughts appreciated.

  9. As a Vegas fan, and a fellow desert hockey lover, I know this isn’t the end. The yotes helped prove hockey can exist in the desert and I will always feel grateful. I have faith the Yotes will be back. Love to everyone sad and upset about this. You have every right to be! ❤❤

  10. Just desserts after stealing them from Winnipeg. a city with a metro area of 6 million can’t even get 20k out to a game on a consistent basis. Drew less than the jets did with a population of 500k.

  11. As an outsider, 14 years ago had they moved back to Winnipeg, I wouldn't have cared but today I feel for all the people affected by this. With how much the NHL pushed to keep this team there, no reason it should have ended like this but they couldn't even get a good owner in there. I get why the NHL is doing this the way they are but I'm not so sure this owner should be the guy to bring them back if that ever happens.

  12. The complete cowardice of Mereulo not showing up tonight. I really dont see how the NHL can allow him to own franchise again

  13. Teams require strong ownership (which isn't AM) and enough paying fans to fill a 17,000 seat rink to make it work and in 27+yrs this was never accomplished. No other league would have waited even 10yrs before they moved. How many millions were given in revenue sharing over the decades? I'm not sure Coyotes 2.0 is anything more than a dream cause NHL owners will not signoff on revenue sharing in Arizona ever again..

  14. Lots of athletes live in Arizona during their off season, especially baseball player's. More than likely current player's will live in Arizona during their off season. They can still be members of the community & help with the hockey community there. The player's will finally be treated like NHL player's in Utah, that's a fact

  15. What a game. That one was for the fans.
I live in S.L.C. and we are ready to embrace this team, while feeling for all who are affected by this move. We have family in AZ and travel there often, so our hearts go out to the community. Ryan Smith will invest in this team like no owner has and the new arena is already approved. Good times will come again for this team.

  16. Kitchener Ontario? That’s funny, the Kitchener Rangers of the OHL play in a larger arena, Memorial Auditorium, than the Coyotes

  17. The players will be okay. Its everyone that supports the team, all the employees that work around it. They are the ones that really got hurt in this.

  18. I wouldn't be so sure it's the last Coyotes postgame podcast ever; there's still a decent chance they come back as an expansion team, and in any case Ryan Smith has indicated that he plans to change the team name if (and more likely when) he buys and moves them.

  19. You can tell that lady is fighting back tears. I wish I could give her a big hug and tell her not to lose hope that they'll come back via expansion.

  20. As for the Roadrunners, it looks like they have an arena contract in Tucson until 2026. And Reno writers were told by AM's reps that they plan on bringing an AHL team to the arena that they are building there in 2026. I want to support the Roadrunners but have a hard time giving AM a dime.

  21. At the end of the day, the coyotes have a fan base big enough to support a major junior club. Always has. Not big enough to support an NHL franchise.

  22. I disagree with the sentiment that public funding should be used to keep a team in a community etc. Billionaires and millionaires should not be put on the corporate welfare dole. We have veterans that have shed blood for this country living on the streets dealing with debilitating mental health issues and we're talking about giving money to billionaires to build their arenas? I don't with in the case of SLC getting public money or any other sports owner for that matter. It never comes close to paying itself off and the feel ls good argument about having a community being about to watch a pro sports team falls flat on its face when ignoring the other major issues the community faces.

  23. As someone who lives in a city which lost a team, Cleveland, I understand what you are going through/will go through and I wasn’t even a fan of the original Browns.

The Browns moved to Baltimore for the 1996 NFL season and returned to the NFL for the 1999 season as an expansion team. Baltimore would go on to win two Super Bowls as the Ravens and the Browns would have one of the worst two decade runs not only in the NFL but in professional sports. To this day, as much as Cleveland loves this current version of the Browns, every time we play the Ravens you realize that the REAL Cleveland Browns are in Baltimore.

You’ll most likely get the return of the Coyotes but it won’t be the same. You’ll see the Utah Whatevers and say “those guys are the Arizona Coyotes.”

As a fan of one of the two greatest sports on the planet, although I’m a fan of a different NHL team, I’m saddened to see the Coyotes go by the wayside. As a fan who has traveled the country, and continent, to see my team play, I was lucky enough to get to three Avalanche/Coyotes games, one in Jobing.com and two in Mullett.

I look forward to another trip to Phoenix to see my Avs play the Yotes!
