I remember earlier in the season Andrew Brunette complimented the Canucks after a win by basically saying "They did to us what we wanted to do to them."
I think stylistically this is a great matchup for Vancouver but I don't think it will be a short series. Nashville is a great hockey team they didn't go on that points streak by fluke.
Honestly I'm just grateful to avoid the media shitshow that would have been a Vancouver/LA first round series: Endless reminders of 2012 despite the fact that not a single player from this Canucks roster has anything to do with that era not to mention Zadorov's accurate but ill-timed criticism of the Kings' playstyle being pure bulletin board material for the Kings.
Who's doing the play-by-play ?
Vanās play without the puck is a concern! You canāt simply defend the middle of the ice and not compete for loose pucks along the boards in your own zone!
