Nothing but positives for Toffoli, traded to a Cup contenter to run out his contract and if he performs well it will do nothing but boost his value when he becomes a UFA this summer. The devils are in self destruct mode at this point !

With Toff and Monny there , I will be voting for the jets a wee bit this year.
Toffolli was the one positive constant on the devils who had a revolving door of injuries and shit goaltending.. fitz has done a great job assembling stud forwards but losing Hamilton to injury, severson, graves to free agency left the devils to rely on rookie defensemen and mediocre goalies to hold it down and they had a rude awakening.. I never understood the love affair with Marino and siegenthaler; none stood out to be game changers.. it’s been a rough year and I know fitz will address in the offseason .. devils will be in the playoffs next year
