The New York Islanders have qualified for the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the fifth time in six seasons. They advanced past the opening round in three of the four previous appearances over that span, including being among the final four teams standing twice (2020 & 2021). The Islanders are pursuing their fifth Stanley Cup in franchise history and first since 1983.

Back on 2012 i saw for the first time quick in the playoffs….i knew he is the best goalie…now sorokin is that guy..who knows but the Isles could go all the way!
Crazy how Sorokin is having a down year, yet 70% of the highlights are insane saves by him
