  1. yes he will get suspended for that. just because of the flip of his arm at the end.

Pens fan and really like Borts physicality but they are making example of those kind of hits.

  2. When will players learn, don't bend down to reach out for the puck or else you'll lose your kid and possibly your wits

  3. yeah, im a huge pens fan, but his feet left the ground too.   Too bad for both, but you just cant do it like that.

  4. feet left the ice at time of impact, he did not go off his feet and then hit him. conact is at the shoulders and the reason the league isnt calling. it was a bad calll on the ice by an official that was turning away from the play.

  5. It was a clean hit. Also, did anyone else notice that Giordano, who seemed like he was knocked senseless, was back on the ice almost immediately? If the hit was that bad they never would have let him back out on the ice. Bad call on the ice.

  6. Where was the principle point of contact then? You can say what you want but he made contact with his head. That is a penalty.

  7. Bortuzzo is nothing but a goon (a goofy looking one at that).  Every time he hits someone smaller than him, he starts with his shoulder, which is fine, but then he follows through with his elbow to show how much tougher he is than someone smaller than him.  Would have liked to have seen him try that on McGrattan.  Or was this Pittsburgh pathetic attempt at retaliation for McGrattan's one punch win ofer Engelland; go after the capatin and one of the smallest players on the Flames with your goon?  They need to get rid of the instigator penalty so people like Bortuzzo are made to answer for their targeting of smaller palyers.

  8. When I guy is bent over, and your hit is coming in low to high, it is sketchy, shoulder may have got the head, the follow thru was high, this is someone throwing a careless hit because he is mad at himself for giving the puck away
