Not a bad hit, Cousins is reaching, Clifton in his right to take the body. Plus he's alerady made that decision before Cousins crouches – Whilst it might not be the best defence play as there is another Florida player behind CLifton which he is probably aware of, the contact wth head is incidental. He doesnt' lift (actually crouches), keeps hands and elbows down.. What more do you want?
Not sure if you are ok with the hit or not. Cousins ends up hitting the back of the defenseman. Clifton turns on him at last minuteas if to protect him or making sure the hit is legit. Clifton showed control and empathy for a player known as being dirty. All is good, keep the play going as they say 🙂
