I remain concerned we only have a winning record against 5 of the other 15 playoff teams.

The record against playoff teams is poor. A bit of an uneven season (to state the obvious). But now comes the part where the Oilers will pleasantly surprise us by gelling in the playoffs and showing some consistency. Figures crossed.

Those games against Vancouver really cost us the division.

I was in LA at the 4-0 game I wanted to throw myself down the stairs

The Oilers are 7-2 vs the Canucks in the Playoffs. They haven’t had a playoff series since 1992. It’s been awhile.
The problem with never beating Vancouver is that we don’t k know how or even if we can beat them. I suspect we can but it’ll be a trial and error process. I KNOW we assumed they would be pushover wins like they were last year. And it seems like that attitude never changed.
