  1. They could still move to the Vet. That's almost 15k seating. But then players start complaining about accomodations of the locker rooms, the fans complain about lack of amenities, blah, blah, blah. It's a question of the lesser of two evils. Old venue, relic facilities, high capacity – or very new venue with modern comforts and low capacity. Standing room not withstanding. Pun intended…I made a comment months ago while the Kachina Dogs were still in the race that they might shatter NHL ticket price records if they got to the playoffs. You'd be looking at $10k tickets easily. And people in that neighborhood can afford, which is the big reason Bettman is falling on his sword to keep them there. David Stern made a phenomenal gaffe letting the SuperSonics leave Seattle – probably one of the top 5 wealthiest markets in North America – for, uh, Oklahoma City, located in a relatively poor state. Stern learned his own lesson, which helped keep the Kings in Sac. At least the Coyotes ownership and management have the patience to work the problem through, and not throw a hissy fit and leave for browner pastures over a temporary problem. $100 to stand? Yeah, it's wrong. Algorithm pricing. But nobody is holding a gun to anybody's head to buy them. Is this a problem? Yep. Can it instantly be fixed? Nope, and not even if they take the candy from the stranger in the black van, and end up in Salt Lake. Arenas take just as long to build in SLC as they do in PHX – maybe longer…The long-term math says – and always did – stay home…

  2. Those prices at mullet are completely ridiculous. I’m a hockey fan living in Utah and I can’t wait to support a home team. I’ll be visiting Washington DC this spring and I’ll be attending a couple of Capitals games and the prices are way more reasonable. And I’ll have a seat!!!

  3. It’s over for the Arizona Coyotes, Utah legislators have approved plans to build a new MLB stadium AND a NBA/NFL arena. The Coyotes will never get voters to pay for an arena regardless of whether they buy the property purchase.

  4. Toyota Center in Houston ready to go. Winnipeg Arizona you’re invited to play there we will win and Brody Brazil is the best.

  5. These are resale prices to be fair.
Sold out events are pricey in the resale market
    But I feel ya.

  6. So I was actually just there this past Super Bowl weekend. My buddy lives near Tempe and I flew out there to visit and we caught a ASU vs Alaska game. Great game, cool venue from what they use to have but here is 1 thing I did not like. We set lower corner and the space in the row to walk to and from your seat is narrow as F!!! I would expect that sitting nose bleeds where you have to tip toe and side step your way in, but this was lower level and was less walk space. I'm not even a big guy and felt like I was about to trip. The had the land to build this arena. Would it have really killed you to add an extra foot of width! Anybody else feel the same? And also as far as price. For a college hockey game, I felt our ticket prices were also a bit high. I think we paid $40 each.

  7. Easy fix….sell them to the Miller group in Salt Lake City and move them to Salt Lake City. Ridiculous that tickets are $200 to STAND at an NHL game…..this team isn't going to succeed in Phoenix so why keep trying? Stop beating this drum and move em to Utah

  8. Intimate??? I think you mean pathetic. Tickets are not hard to come by most games.
The game against Toronto was likely the largest draw of fans from out of town… once a year. Look up a game against Anaheim or Columbus.

  9. This guy puts misinformation to get views. Relocation is not the expansion. Leafs are begging for Keller bc he is a superstar. Clearly you don’t watch hockey.

  10. I'm too lazy to drive into LA for $35 tickets to the King's game who has a chance to make the playoffs while the Coyotes are charging these prices just to lose? When the Kings were horrible for years we had Die Hard seats for $12 for front row level 300 tickets.

LA and COL had the Frozen Fury in Las Vegas for years at the MGM Grand Arena and I always talked to local fans who proved that they could ice a team and have the support. They're proving it again playing at the Delta Center in SLC that there's enough screaming fans to make the team and the league money but Bettman still allows this garbage to continue.

  11. It's sad to see the Coyotes play honestly. Watching certain teams visit the Mullett is embarassing, the Coyotes fans are outnumbered in their own arena that has less than 5000 seats

  12. Your showing resale tickets. Those are not face value tickets. Those are scalpers selling tickets on ticketmaster. Click Bait!

  13. Is the suns arena able to do hockey? I know some arena for basketball only do ball, but I'm sure it can't be difficult to get it going

  14. NHL Coyotes will future relocate from A/Z to Houston as the Aviators to have 2 NHL clubs in T/X <Dallas & Houston> upon a major rivalry like EDM Oilers vs CAL Flames.

  15. Few thoughts from someone from the bay that’s been in AZ for 20+ years… They can’t play at footprint as the ice making equipment was removed when the Suns renovated a few years ago. These ticket prices are during our peak snowbird season. Tickets October-December, before all of the midwesterners and Canadians come to town, are easy to find under $100/ticket. And remember, those cheap seats are 1st deck, 15th row. What do those tickets go for at other arenas? Standing room is the equivalent of 16th row. The view from the food lines is better than anything upper deck at any arena in the NHL. Finally, it’s temporary, and I’d highly recommend checking a game out while they’re there. I’ve been to 10+ the last 2 seasons and it’s an incredible hockey experience. The land deal in Scottsdale has to go through the proper channels and they should have a final answer on it in June. No way to expedite the process with the state land trust. If that doesn’t go through, then I’d bet they leave, but until there’s a yes/no on that land everything is speculation.

  16. That's nuts for a team that plays that bad I'm a Ducks fan. I was at a game against Columbus last week I payed about 50 bucks after fees for a wheelchair section seat. 🦆🏒🥅

  17. Best scenario for playoffs would be Footprint Center or the Coliseum. Or maybe the NHL could manage to rent Glendale Arena for a potential playoff run

  18. I don't think they could play hockey anymore in the Suns arena since they renovated the arena recently. They could play in the Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum where the Suns and Roadrunners used to play. They could also play at Chase Field since it has a roof. Ticket prices are crazy across the board in all leagues. It shouldn't cost $25 for cheap seats at an ECHL game.

  19. please do research before speaking, footprint is not an option as they dont have ice making capabilities currently and to do a NHL rink they would have to tear out a end of the arena (the arena was totally redone since coyotes played there), Coyotes were not evicted – glendale (who owns the arena) demanded a 15 year lease and coyotes after 20 years of being unable to make the arena, over an hour from the fan base, work declined. its is embarrassing to be uneducated on a subject that you are talking about like you know the subject.

  20. The fact that Phoenix has a handful of arenas that are bigger than the Mullett arena and they can't play in any of them makes the franchise looks like a joke to all other fans
