  1. What do people think we'd need to attach to Hull to get someone to take him? Doesn't sound like we're going to have a lot of cap space but a top 4 RHD is so huge, especially with ASP at least two years away now.

  2. I liked that he said he might have to make room for Burger and AlJo. Let’s hope they both make it and maybe Kasper comes up to play on the wing with Danielson in GR

  3. Just hearing that Newsy wanted to bring up young talent and SY blocked him is annoying enough but the cherry on top is, who SY was favoring more here. Your telling me you cant let Johannson play cause Petry, Matta or Holl are sooooo much better, get out of here with that trash, Bergrion i blame both SY and Newsy on, just cause they never gave the kid a real shot to jell with anyone and kept flip flopping him down the lines, he looked good with Raymond but they really only ran the line once and before someone mentions his defense, 90% the Wings on this team are trash on D, what difference would that make, so i dont blame him for wanting out. Now im not saying just bring everyone up from GR, that would be stupid, cause clearly guys like Kasper, Mazar, Cossa and Solderblom need there time but Bergrion, Johannson have been in the system for 5 YEARS and clearly have out grown the AHL, not to mention Edvinson out the gate was clearly better then AHL talent, so that was just ah waste of time and the worst part about all of this, were going to be probably running this defense back AGAIN, Ghost is gone but you still have Chariot with one more year, Petry on one more year, Holl on 2 more years and Matta for 1 more year and whos gonna wanna trade for them, Ed will probably be the main which i hope next season, which is a silver lining but your offence is probably gonna take a massive hit, given we half to get Ray and Mo's contracts set up, that's gonna kill are cap space, which they deserve long term deals here but Kane he gone, Sprong gone, Perone gone, Bergrion gone JV gone, like the only reason we stayed in games was cause we out scored are problems and were running back Husso and Lyon again with the same defense, I am not feeling to confident next year looking at all this

  4. I think the press conference was a nothing burger, and there's not much to take from it. Yzerman tends to keep everything pretty tight-lipped and this press conference was an example of that tendency.

  5. Yzerman made it sound like there won't be any major personnel changes for the team or the coaching staff next season. I hope that's not the case.

  6. I completely agree with Yzerman that they arent keeping the good players who can play on NHL level in AHL Jonatan Berggren is good offensively and it that regard nhl worthy, but his defense is pretty bad. Thats why he is in Rapids

  7. No more show for showtime. If the n.h.l. had any kind of personal conduct policy kane would have been thrown out of the league years ago. Any team he plays for will be cursed. Look what happened to Detroit this year. The rangers last year. He may be talented but no one likes a conceited hot dog. He would be wise to retire & fade into the past. Wait until he meets a rookie looking to make a impact. What i find disgusting is someone with his violent attack on a teenage girl he is still being considered a place in the n.h.l. hall of fame. If kane makes it the hall it will become the hall of shame.
