Faber played 82 games and Bedard 68. That matters, because playing a full season as a rookie is a hard thing to do. But a couple of players argued I should soften that stance, because Bedard and McDavid (who missed 37 games his rookie season) should not be penalized for being “targets” of every team they face. It’s a very fair point, although something I still consider.
