Frost is incredibly overrated! 2nd line center with only 13 goals. 39 goals in over 200 games. Is is not that good. I’d be happy as hell if he gets traded/asks for a trade
I agree with the panel ‘ players like farabee‘ frost ‘ ‘ Laughton are expendable ‘ to many of them on the team who are not natural scorers’ we need more talented players who can put the puck in the net in a consistent basics
It's not about keeping players who support the culture – it's about getting guys who are also gonna buy in. AND have talent.

No way they trade York. He’s a core player for several years. If they can get a second round pick, I trade Laughton now. Same goes for Risto.

Coots is tradable imo. I love the player, but his timeline on this team is confusing. I could see them moving him.

Laughton should have been moved already, they should jump at the chance to move risto, package frost and Farabee for legit top 6 center, I don’t love giving up on Farabee since he just posted his best season of the kid just keeps improving like he is he’ll be a 70 point guy

can anyone explain the logic of the jamie drysdale trade? torts said he wanted to use him as a rover but doesn't that role require a pretty awesome natural goal scoring ability? i looked at drysdales junior stats and his goal scoring doesn't seem all that impressive. if he's not really that good at scoring goals then how can he be a rover?
looks like torts already penciled in fedotov as the default backup goalie. what evidence do the flyers have that fedotov is significantly better than sandstrom? kolosov played 2 games in the ahl so far, not sure he's any good either. the flyers could start the next season with serious goaltending issues.

can anyone explain why bettman didn't force gauthier to sign with the flyers? i can't imagine mcdavid wants to play in -40 edmonton all these years or many other star players who could simply do the same as gauthier and end up playing in warm winter climates.
it just doesn't make any sense. its like the flyers didn't even protest to the league office. like they were in complete agreement with gauthier that its best he goes somewhere else.
