Carolina got this series
Carolina Hurricanes are my favorite team!
Deflecting or Tip in is when they are referring to players dleflecting in their teamsmates passes or shots at/into goal
Kuznetzov didnt get his shot deflecting but used his teamate to disguise his shot
Iโm an islanders fan I know the refs were really bad and kinda screwed us over but I like the way we played, I didnโt see anything in game 1 that said we canโt win this series
Oh and also btw there usually is more hits in the playoffs but the islanders are known for their defensive and aggressive style of play (a lot of people say itโs boring but I like it because it produces wins and thatโs all that matters)
hey its called a deflection fyi, love the vids
alo if you react to a game lives youll see abt a fight/scrum after every whistle
Make sure to review the oilers game
Yes, a screen is where a player on either team gets in the way of the goalie's field of view, and yes there are more hits in the playoffs.
7:26 Hitting the puck away is allowed. The goalies just have to be careful to make sure they're not giving it away back to the other team.
8:27 This is a dump-in to make sure the Hurricanes don't go offsides when entering the zone. It was a set-play which is where the player tries to deflect it off the boards/glass and get a lucky bounce where it comes back to him or his teammates. It's not anything new, but we're seeing more and more of it in today's league than we did 10 years ago or even further back.
The Canes goalie recently came back to play after career threatening blood clots. Heโs been lights out for the team since. Go Canes!
There's regular season hockey, then there's the playoffs. Two very different worlds. Also to answer your question of how many games in a series. It's a best of 7.
