Is the deal transferable? Like could someone else buy the rights from him and fulfill all the requirements?

How come nobody posts the source, just so you can be first here for fake internet points?

Not surprised.

The point that brings me the most hope is there are requirements he must meet in order to continue pursuing a franchise, starting with buying the land. If he fails there, he loses the expansion opportunity. Based off of his track record, I’m confident we will have new competent ownership as soon as June 27th.

I’m not ready to think about five, seven, or ten years yet. Let’s see what happens in 66 days (but who’s counting?!)

The coyotes about to turn into AZ’s version of the Whalers ☹️

This is something I’ve thought about, like I might be pushing 40 by the time they come back

The whole 5 years stipulation is just to soften the blow. The league and the fans don’t want that dude owning the team

The link at the bottom of that interview where Keating calls the ownership group a “Confederacy of dunces” is the type of quote I need to put on my wall.
Also noted another article where he can keep his sportsbook license (real reason he wants to keep the assets and doesn’t care that they only transferred players and staff)

This article, where he cites a decade is pure speculation on his part. Nothing has changed. Win the auction, get the land. Start building/get approvals and get a new franchise. It’s that simple and complicated. If he can’t meet those deadlines then yes, a decade is the timeline most likely

Actions not Words Alex. No one believes a word out of your mouth or your puppet Xavier. If you don’t like the media, hire a public relations firm to help you talk professionally to people. Honestly, I think the article is on the money. At 5 years it appears the NHL is hedging a bet that he fails, I hope to be wrong, but this guy already has a bunch of hate by being silent for the past few years.

Six years is the perfect time to capitalize on the nostalgia factor of the kachina jersey, eh?
