  1. Ruff is just okay, but heā€™ll keep some season ticket holders from leaving, and he fits the Sabresā€™ timeline. Buffalo possibly wants to turn the keys over to an assistant (Appert?) in a few years, and Berube, Gallant, etcā€¦ probably wouldnā€™t sign on for that.

You make a good point that GMKA still has some work to do this offseason.

  2. It's a great public relations move, now we wait to see if it will pay off on the ice. I do hope it works for Buffalo though.

  3. All these hockey experts here in this threadšŸ™ˆšŸ™ˆšŸ™‰šŸ™‰šŸ™ŠšŸ™Š. Let's just see where the Sabres are in December. šŸ’Ŗ

  4. I think itā€™s for him to come back and Win 1 for Buffalo , Not just the fans but for Buffalo itself, , , ya I use to watch him when he was on the ice , and as a coach for us , ā¤ļø

  5. Lindy was one among the coaches I was interested in, so I am Happy with the selection. He has some unfinished business to take care of here. šŸ˜ŽšŸ‘

  6. The team has been a mess since he left.
I say give him another shot, especially with this team!

  7. For owner Terry Pegula, who, seemingly, has no good connections in pro hockey circles, this is nothing but a safe, "feel good" hire. The Sabre's are run like they're in a cocoon, safe from any outsiders who might have some answers. Pegula might be the worst owner in Buffalo's history, and there are a couple of doozies in that club!

  8. I think he is absolutely the right guy at the right time. Lindy is Buffalo Royalty. He is a hard nose coach that is strong on culture and discipline, but heā€™s also a coach that evolves around the team that the GM puts together. Iā€™m hopeful for great things next year.

  9. Great Video, as usual, Mike. I think that this is a good first step for The Buffalo Sabres. I agree with you in the other video, that, it is a strange move for them, especially since, as you said, there are a lot of, as you also pointed out, things that are similar to The New Jersey Devils. Therefore, even though it's a good selection, I think that they'll have to make some acquisitions, especially, key players, that can put the puck in the net with more of a consistent basis. Let me know what you think
