    Would love to see this for the 2nd and 3rd periods specifically. Feels like we didn’t test the waters during period 1 to see what the caps were going to try to do and then unleashed the rest of the game

    we beat the caps at their own game playing low event hockey. I’ve gotta imagine the caps will try and open it up a bit more in game 2 to try and get on the board first.

    Washington’s strategy was to limit shots and chances for both teams. A good strategy when you’re winning, a decent strategy in a tie game, and a terrible strategy when you’re losing.

    They are trying to good it up because they don’t have the foot speed when OVI is on the Ice and the puck heads the other way it’s basically a 5 on 4 he is a strictly offensive zone player and even in that zone he does not move much he’s old and he’s breaking down .They have some young guys mixed with slow veterans out vets like Mike Panarin Kreider are more younger vets they still have there speed
