Ehlers went on to win several accolades; CHL Rookie of the Year, QMJHL Rookie of the Year, QMJHL Best Professional Prospect “Mike Bossy Trophy” and QMJHL Offensive Rookie of the Year “Michel Bergeron Trophy”.
-Ehlers was drafted 6th overall by the Mooseheads in the 2013 CHL Import Draft and is draft eligible for the 2014 NHL Draft.

    If Dal Colle doesn't fall to us at 6 then I really wouldn't mind taking Ehlers at 6. He's been one guy on the rise since the start of the season and putting up 100 pts in your first year in the CHL is no small feat, i don't care who you are.

    Ive been hoping for the canucks to grab Virtanen but after reading and watching this kid play i hope he'll be called 6th. Ps. Anyone else think he has an unorthodox shot? Not in a bad way really, his release just appears to be so unique.
