Hate when gms just get former players.AA adds speed,but Mike green? Ennis is smart and plays every position, but Mike green?
Bringing in a fast 1 dimensional forward with horrible backchecking/D play….. That most fans auto think should be on the first line, as they also think trying Yamo on first line for a game or 2 is a bad idea….lol. Well i predict now that if AA doesn't get far better at his D, then this isn't gona be the great addition most oil fans seem to think it will be. And Gagner? Was a better overall player then when he was here the first time, when his D play was highly suspect. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out.
Ugh I dont think sam should have been traded. Larsson or Benning should have been..Sam is consistent. Oh well hope all goes well

AA is a bum, never backchecks, gives up on plays.
I'm a Oilers fan and I like what they did. The 2 trades (and the Mike Green trade just before the deadline) I think have given the team a boost. More speed and some veteran experience these are some minor upgrades to a team that is already pretty good, and they didn't have to give up much for them. I do like Sam Gagner and it would be nice to have him long term during this Oilers era which (knock on wood) looks to be a successful era but his salary cap is just too much. If he was cheaper I think most people would be happy with Gagner but not at that price.

I feel like these new pick ups are just gonna make the team better and I thank holland for that mcdavid got himself a new winger if not I feel like he'll fit in the line up just fine with other players Ennis also a great pick up and green is gonna fit in well he handles the place great in the zone and makes smart plays oilers gonna be a playoff team got a good feeling about this lots of great depth mix with talent and physicality team is looking great

I cant even remember the last time Edmonton traded for a higher end forward. I'm 100 percent okay with AA costing two 2nd rounders, Chiarelli would have sold off our future for him

From a lifelong Wings fan, you Oilers fans will love having AA and just know that he’s streaky but he’ll benefit from having strong line mates. He is absolutely on the cusp of being a star as long as he can put it all together. Oh and he’s fast, ludicrously fast!
