Ekbald is not worth his contract. 60mil for what? He is not scoring, he is not blocking shots, he is not breaking the game in front of the net. I miss the old NHL where defense was working along with goal scoring, lots of goals and beautifully blocked shots, that was fun to watch. Now all we can see is how overpaid defender does nothing and hope for a goalie to catch the puck.
Don’t get me wrong, high-scoring games can be exciting, but games like these were we get a goalie duel (sort of) are awesome. And, of course, Verhaeghe’s at it again
