It’s Marner’s job to adjust as the play unfolds. He’s in position to cover the D-man (which Han mentions), but he doesn’t adjust when the puck goes to the half-wall. Pastrnak is Marner’s guy as soon as he curls to the middle of the ice- Marner bails and covers the point which is already out of the play at that point.
Don’t know how you can pin this one on anyone but the player who lost his guy…..
