OK Guys, it’s time to take a look at the game last night between the Florida Panthers and the Tampa Bay Lightning.. The Panthers won this game by a score of 3-2 in OT.. And took a 2-0 series lead against the Bolts! Sam Bennett and Sergei Bobrovsky were incredible. Lets take a look!

The panthers don't have a 1st round pick for the next 2 drafts, they don't even have a second round pick this year.
They have a dozen guys hitting UFA this summer, including guys like Reinhart, Ekman-Larsson, Stolarz , Montour etc.
They don't have any cap space left.
So if I'm kent Hughes, i'm taking advantage of all of that with Winnipeg's pick and a bunch of the other extras we have for this draft and the next to try and snatch Carter Verhaeghe. He'd mesh so well with what we're trying to build here while providing a lot more grit, height and the clutch moments proficiency we lost since Monahan got traded.
