  1. As a Packers fan ima miss Jones so much but off a MCL injury and hammy issue, and signing a long term deal that Packers was looking for was not worth the risk, Jacob’s is 3 years younger and maybe not even in his prime yet.

  2. Hard decision for GB, but Jones didn't like the money situation. So they moved on and, in my opinion, got a great catch in Jacobs on a very favorable contract. Then they surprisingly kept Dillion, but also on a very good contract. Add in a draft pick running back and they're well set at the position. Very, very sorry to see Jones leave. He's a great person and a great performer. But that's how the system works. GB management is very good. All of which Bayless has yet to figure out.

  3. thing is jones was going to get around 17 mil and GB wasnt going to pay that. jacobs is on a cheaper contract with the ability to get out of the contract cheap if it doesnt work out.

  4. I knew when Jones signed that contract in 2021 that he wouldn't be there for the entire length of the deal because of how it was structured. I really hope we dont regret this because Jones is still a top 10 back in the league. Im gonna miss him.

  5. I think this is going to be an offensive machine in Green Bay. Jacobs running setting up this very good passing game. Going to get greener in green bay guys

  6. Even if Josh Jacobs matches Jones production. The loss of Aaron Jones the man is a huge loss in that locker room

  7. I Love Jones, now I'll come to Love Jacobs and these names get me all messed up! I keep hearing the stupid childhood song in my head "John Jacob Jinkle Heimer Schmidt his name is my name too and whenever I go out the people always shout John Jacob Jingle Heimer Schmidt la la la la la la la la"
Now it's in your head LOL!

  8. Jones will be a packer hall of famer Forsure. We go younger all the time and it’s basically the same contract Jones got at age 26. Already moved on lol GPG!!!💪🏻🧀

  9. Aaron Jones is one of the nicest guys you will meet. He was filming commercials for anloval GMC dealership here in Wausau Wisconsin and he was totally approachable and just a genuine dude. he will be missed on that squad.

  10. Skip got owned on this. You can see him getting butthurt because he got called out for being an emotional clown again 😂

  11. I agree with Skip for once , Jones had health issues and has fumbled some big plays but he has also basically been most of the offense during a lot of games over the years including last , there is the chance of him getting to hurt or worn out but he was always going to try his hardest and I would rather take a chance on Jones ,I just wish he would have ended up on a team that was good.

  12. It's going to take time, lots of time, for me to get over the Jones cut. Really stinks they wanted him to take another pay cut after he already took a massive cut last year, gute has a reputation of treating veterans poorly. What a stupid stunt they pulled – it'll have far reaching consequences, how can players trust this organization.

  13. What ppl are missing whether it was that jacobs was a aj dillon replacement/upgrade aaron jones replacement will be in the draft with my pick being jaylen Wright this was going to be the case i say from the jump

  14. Crazy that the pack could have has a crazy Rb room if they came up on the number slightly. Jones signed for 7mil so the front office failed on this one

  15. TF JUST HAPPENED I thought the Packers was done with letting go of all their good players in the off-season like they used to do….. football is better off without my attention my life is better off without looking at football. Behind these decision I’m forced to look at.

  16. It was a business decision. It was not about "liking or not liking" Aaron Jones. His agent dug his heels in… and that's okay. But AJ missed 6 full games and played several half-or partial games. Is Jones worth the money? YE$! But Packers are still rebuilding. & The Packers historically are able to develop players into their system. So I guess we wait and see. We wish Aaron Jones the best. He is a great guy- on and off the field.

  17. I agree.. As a Packers fan Aaron was the best guy on the field most of the time… he was a leader and an amazing back. I know he is 29, after his performance at the end of the season and post season he was a beast.. I guess I never paid attention to Jacobs… But I loved Aaron Jones… The best running back we've had in years and they release him… He goes to MN and now we have to face him 2X+ a year… best rounded back in football..

  18. The last two GB Superbowl victories were ushered in by veteran players, Reggie White and Charles Woodson. They not only gave their all, but brought the whole team up. Aaron Jones was that guy for this young team.

  19. Love you guys, you bring happiness to my 👂 s 💯 ❤🎉🎉🎉

2024 football feeling like the Phoenix, amazing teams developing before us.

    Great commentary ❤ thanks 🙏

  20. The packers had two first round picks in 2019 and picked Gary and savage before the raiders picked Jacobs 😂 “they couldn’t go out and get him”

  21. I am a season ticket holder for 23 years. This deal is awesome. I love Aaron jones but obviously Gute needs to do everything possible to win rings…let’s look at this deal in two years

  22. I will miss Aaron Jones but that extra 20LBS on Jacobs will aid in destroying safties and corners playing linbacker positions when we have 5 young and up and coming WRs on the field. Defenses will be damed if they do and damed if they dont

  23. I love AJones! OK? But…. Bye!!! This is the game. And I don't know why everyone is saying that Jacobs is gonna replace AJones, he's gonna be in the back up roll. This is the year of Quadzilla, my man, #28, AJ Dillon! Jacobs is a bonus, no doubt, but Greenbay already has there #1 running back. Jones, Goodluck friend, you are a beast and we all did appreciate you.

  24. Its so funny how all the nfc north teams do everything they can to sign GB players that have torched them for years lmfao. And almost every one of those players only signs with those teams when they offer the most money or just out of spite because they really wanted to stay in GB. Its the only reason jones went to minnesota. Had literally nothing to do with acually wanting to play there

  25. Jacobs had a horrible season last yr, when the previous yr he was the #1 running back in the league. He went down to #26 lol. And people still think he had a good season. I might have missed something idk. Of course the raiders didn't feel the need to overpay.
