The series isn't over because the Canes are up 2-0. The series is over because of the way the Islanders acted at the end of Game 2.
This series is, by no means, over. This is OVERCONFIDENCE. Remember when nobody gave the New York Giants a chance in the Super Bowl many years ago against a New England Patriot squad that had Tom Brady AND Randy Moss. The Patriots are heavily favored….and they LOST. It's NEVER over until it's OFFICIALLY over. I want the 'Canes to win, but don't get overconfident. That leads to mistakes.
The series is everything but over. Only a fool thinks that. The Isles are pissed, a lot. And they will bring that to the fight. I expect a totally different team tonight. They'll battle for their playoff life. Tonight they will win but on Saturday we will win (because they cannot play angry, again) and then close it out in game 5 at home .
Rat poison
Yeah, this series isn’t over. Last I checked, we have 2 wins – not 4. Islanders have had two days to regroup and get to work. Not to mention, they’re on home ice. It’ll be a tough one tonight.
